Aneil received his undergraduate degree in Economics from The University of Chicago and a Masters of Science in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science. At Ohio State he received his Masters of Science in Economics in 2013, and another in Agricultural, Environmental, and Developmental Economics in 2014. He expects to receive his Ph.D. in Agricultural, Environmental, and Developmental Economics in May 2016. Aneil is a Dean's Distinguished University Fellow, and a research assistant for his advisor Elena Irwin. Aneil's research focuses on the use of household-level data to analyze problems in urban and regional economics. The first section of his dissertation models and empirically tests the effects of search and information costs, as well as Nash bargaining power in determining house prices. The second chapter of his dissertation investigates how fuel economy of consumer vehicles varies within an MSA, and how it may be endogenously determined. He also is conducting research with Elena Irwin on the valuation water clarity and waterfront amenities along Lake Erie. Prior to his studdies at Ohio State, Aneil was a research assistant at Wharton and the Urban Institute. Advisor: Elena Irwin
