Meng-Fen Yen

Nichole (Meng-Fen) Yen is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at The Ohio State University.  

Professor Mario Miranda serves as her adviser.  Nichole is currently a graduate research assistant for the Farm Income Enhancement Program, working with Professor Ani Katchova as her co-advisor.

She is currently working on a research project on agricultural cooperatives. She has previously worked with the USDA-ARMS dataset to analyze the substitution effect between farmers’ saving and crop insurance. 

Nichole has received an MBA degree from the Fisher College of Business and M.A. from the Department of Economics, The Ohio State University.
