His work on the effects of Eurasian water-milfoil on lakefront property development in the Twin Cities region of Minnesota was awarded the "2013 Best 2nd Year Research Manuscript" by the AED Economics Department at Ohio State University. James is also the research assistant for Ohio State's Environmental Policy Initiative, where he has taken a central role in the development of the "Ohio Wedges Project," which estimates CO2 emissions and quantifies potential reductions from alterations in current technologies within the state of Ohio. Along with research, James has independently instructed a Data Analysis course and has been the teaching assistant for Environmental and Resource Economics.Advisors: H.
